Housing Seminar, September 27th

Targeting self-advocates and their staff, invited families, and resource coordinators, a Home Ownership seminar will be held by Community Vision founder Joe Wykowski on September 27, 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Wykowski brings more than a quarter of a century of experience in the field of serving those with developmental disabilities.

Every citizen has the right to control their housing, to rent an affordable apartment or own a home of their own; the values of safety, security and the opportunity to acquire an asset belong to everyone in the United Sates. Participants attending this workshop will learn about housing opportunities through the examples of the presenters and persons with disabilities who have secured affordable, individualized rental and home ownership opportunities within Maryland and other parts of the United States.
